Branch Manager

JS Bank is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to lead operations at its Gulshan-e-Ravi Branch (Branch Code: 9161). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all branch activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives. This role demands strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage both staff and resources effectively to meet financial targets and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily branch operations to ensure smooth functioning and compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for new customer acquisition and cross-selling banking products and services.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs promptly and resolving any issues effectively.
- Monitor branch financial performance, including deposits, advances, and fee-based income, and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Ensure adherence to risk management and internal control procedures to safeguard bank assets.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and customers to enhance the branch’s reputation and market presence.
- Oversee cash management, including balancing cash drawers and ensuring adequate cash availability.
- Coordinate with other departments and support functions to facilitate seamless service delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field is mandatory.
- Proven experience in branch banking or financial services, preferably with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
- Proficiency in banking software and MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
