We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee and lead the daily operations of our branch in Karachi. This role requires a strong focus on achieving business targets, cultivating lasting customer relationships, and guiding a high-performing team to deliver sustained growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales, ensuring compliance, and enhancing overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve consistent sales targets by maintaining a strong monthly run-rate and directing sales efforts through strategic plans informed by market insights and customer needs.
- Lead marketing initiatives to attract new customers and collaborate closely with the Marketing team on product development, staff training, campaigns, and monitoring business targets to maximize the impact of product rollouts.
- Ensure branch staff, particularly Relationship Managers, are fully aware of key performance indicators (KPIs) and have the necessary tools to meet them.
- Drive business development by formulating, implementing, and monitoring strategies and sales plans aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening existing relationships in line with business goals.
- Proactively analyze growth opportunities within the branch and recommend resource enhancements to support expansion efforts.
- Focus on stable revenue growth by balancing funded and non-funded income streams effectively.
- Monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, responding promptly to suspicious activities and ensuring timely closure of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
- Strictly adhere to AML guidelines and policies to maintain compliance and prevent any regulatory issues.
- Hold authority to approve dormant account activations and ensure that data for the top 100 customers is regularly updated.
- Continuously review branch processes, resources, and procedures to maintain high service standards through capacity planning, removing bottlenecks, and improving workflows.
- Personally engage in customer retention efforts by resolving complaints and collecting ad hoc feedback to enhance service quality.
- Regularly review internal controls to ensure operational soundness and compliance with group policies and Central Bank regulations.
- Oversee the Retail Client Credit portfolio, ensuring all customer and staff facilities are fully secured with accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with Group credit policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Customer Relationship Management, Stakeholder Management, Sales, and Business Development.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships internally and externally.
