The Cluster Head position, based in Lahore, offers an opportunity to lead multiple branches within a defined cluster, driving business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Cluster Head will be responsible for overseeing the performance of all branches within the assigned cluster. This includes setting and achieving targets related to deposits, lending, and fee-based income while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. Daily operations must be closely monitored, with performance reports analyzed to identify trends and implement strategies that meet financial and operational goals. The role requires coaching and mentoring branch teams to enhance their capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies. Strengthening risk management and control frameworks is also a critical part of the responsibilities.

In addition to operational oversight, the Cluster Head will develop insights into the local market, establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and work collaboratively with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and new business opportunities. This leadership role demands a balance of hands-on management and strategic vision to drive cluster-wide success.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have proven experience in branch banking or retail/commercial banking leadership, with a track record of managing multiple branches or teams within a cluster or regional setup. Strong business development skills are essential, including expertise in customer relationship management, portfolio growth, and local market analysis. A solid understanding of banking products, credit processes, risk management, and regulatory compliance is required.

Effective people management skills are critical, including performance management, coaching, and team development. The role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across various functions. Analytical and strategic thinking skills are necessary, along with proficiency in using data and reports to inform decisions and improve performance. Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site in Lahore and thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of cluster-level results. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required, while a master’s degree or professional banking certification is considered an advantage.
