Branch Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This role involves managing store staff, optimizing overall performance, and ensuring every customer enjoys a positive shopping experience. Effective communication, negotiation skills, and resource management are essential to thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and inspire the store team to meet sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and staffing.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, development programs, and performance evaluations to build a competent team.
- Oversee payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
- Perform regular inventory audits and manage stock effectively to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Operate POS systems for transactions and ensure strict adherence to cash handling procedures.
- Create and execute marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and drive sales growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through clear communication and team management.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the Footwear or Apparel Industry, specifically in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Proficiency in inventory management, retail math, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and conducting employee orientation sessions.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential.
- Exceptional communication skills focused on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as required.

- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary range of Rs55,000 to Rs60,000.
