Branch Operations Manager

Bank of Khyber is seeking a dedicated Officer for the Payroll & Taxation position within its Payroll Department at the Head Office in Peshawar. This full-time role requires a professional with solid experience in salary taxation, preferably within the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the bank.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries.
- Handle all aspects of salary taxation, including calculation, deduction, and compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of taxation policies and implement changes as required.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports related to payroll and taxation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payroll and tax-related queries.
- Utilize MS Excel and dashboard tools to analyze payroll data and generate reports for management review.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of Graduation.
- Preferably holding a degree in B.Com, M.Com, or ICMA.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in salary taxation, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the banking industry.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel is essential, with the ability to work on dashboards considered an added advantage.
