BSS Integration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our team, responsible for analyzing, preparing, implementing, and verifying the configuration and integration of nodes, networks, and systems. This role involves working on new product introductions, system upgrades, expansions, functionality enhancements, capacity adjustments, and activities related to customer legacy environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background within telecom environments and a passion for delivering high-quality integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in the planning and execution of product configuration and integration activities.
- Implement product configurations and complete integration and migration tasks.
- Prepare and execute system, module, and acceptance testing to ensure quality and compliance.
- Conduct test activities to verify that solutions meet both technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements throughout the delivery lifecycle to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide post-project technical support and follow-up to ensure smooth transitions and issue resolution.
- Apply comprehensive technical knowledge across BSS, OSS, cloud, and telecom environments.
- Support scripting, coding, and automation efforts to streamline processes.
- Contribute actively to knowledge sharing and foster effective teamwork.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including technical pre-studies and solution assessments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within a telecom vendor or operator environment, preferably focused on Business Support Systems (BSS) or cloud software systems with an emphasis on data analytics.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Solid understanding of BSS infrastructure and architecture within a telecom service provider setting.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux system administration, IP networking, and databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Knowledge of IP security principles.
- Familiarity with 3GPP charging architecture, mechanisms, and interfaces.
- Understanding of mobile technologies including 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, VoLTE, and IMS, especially their integration with BSS/OSS architectures and TM Forum standards.
- Experience using automation and DevOps tools such as GitOps, Rosetta, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, learning, and research capabilities.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with machine learning (ML) and generative AI (GenAI) tools such as Amazon Bedrock, Copilot, Claude, or comparable platforms.
- Hands-on experience implementing data pipelines and working with data lake and analytics platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
