We are seeking a full-time, experienced Construction Site Engineer/Supervisor for our company in Islamabad. As a site engineer, you will monitor diversified aspects of construction project management. This will include planning, coordination, and supervision of on-site activities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in:
Civil Structural and Finishing Works
Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in high-detail finishing, civil and structural works, with knowledge of MEP, false ceilings, carpentry, Epoxy Flooring, Corian, paint, glass, steel works, and related fields.
- Familiarity with construction procedures and SOPs for residential and commercial buildings, along with knowledge of relevant bylaws.
- Ability to estimate and prepare material requirements for projects.
- A keen eye for detail to monitor progress and ensure quality finishes.
- Strong leadership skills to manage technicians, labor, and helpers, ensuring timely completion of work according to schedule.
- Ensure materials are used per design specifications, with no wastage or overuse beyond allocated quantities.
- Proficiency in reading and executing work based on drawings and preparing daily site reports.
- Proficient in estimation software, Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and internet tools.
- Experience with the construction of Structural projects, including maintenance, repair, and renovations, is preferred. A portfolio and proof of past projects will be required. Knowledge of materials and brands, along with the ability to work under pressure, is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- DAE or B-Tech with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising construction projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle multiple construction projects at different stages of development.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
