We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Lahore office. As part of both the local and overseas finance team, the role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards using Oracle NetSuite ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations in NetSuite.
  • Set up, review, and maintain a proper Chart of Accounts aligned with reporting and controls.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with strong attention to detail.
  • Perform three-way reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, payments and maintain accurate aging reports.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries and ensure timely financial close.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries and variance analysis for management and overseas stakeholders.
  • Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
  • Assist the Finance Manager and overseas team in executing accounting and reporting tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or ACCA (part-qualified or qualified).
  • 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Hands-on, practical experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to set up and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA).
  • Strong command over Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong MS Excel expertise, including reconciliations, aging analysis, and working with large datasets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
  • Experience in preparing month-end and year-end closing entries.
  • Experience working with overseas or international finance teams is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of UK VAT or international taxation is a plus.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
