We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Finance and Accounting to lead the financial operations at our Lahore office. This full-time, night shift onsite position requires a strategic leader with extensive knowledge of US and Canadian accounting principles, including GAAP and relevant Canadian standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proven track record of managing finance teams effectively. This role is critical to maintaining the organization’s financial stability, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting key business decisions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Finance and Accounting to lead the financial operations of International European Company. As a senior finance leader you will be responsible for financial strategy, operational finance performance, governance of our European Company which also operated from Lahore, Pakistan. The role will spearhead process improvements and support ERP optimization as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Advise business owners on commercial decisions, growth opportunities, and risk
- Lead financial planning linked to strategic expansion
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
- Drive margin improvement and operational cost management
- Build insightful dashboards and KPIs for better decision-making
Accounting, Audit & Compliance
- Lead statutory accounting, tax compliance, and internal controls in Pakistan
- Ensure full adherence to IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Manage audit relationships and continuous process improvements
- Strong knowledge of U.K. financal &accounting
Cash & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity optimization, and banking relationships
- Support currency exposure management and cross-border cash activities
Commercial & Operational Finance
- Partner with sales, supply chain, and procurement to improve profitability
- Lead ROI evaluations for CAPEX, commercial investments, and new markets/products
ERP & Systems Development
- Support optimization of ERP usage and automation of finance processes
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle is highly preferred, but not essential
- Champion digital tools and data integrity across finance operations
Team Leadership
- Build and develop a capable and scalable finance team in Pakistan
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
- Professional certification required — ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA, or CMA
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong financial operations and commercial finance leadership in a scaling business
- Experience working directly with founders/owners is an advantage
- Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis capabilities
- NetSuite / Oracle experience preferred (not essential)
