Business Analyst

The Business Analyst role, based in Hyderabad with a five-day work-from-office schedule, is designed to provide effective technical support and resolve client issues promptly to meet process SLAs. This position operates primarily during the 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM shift, with occasional extensions for critical priorities. The role involves understanding client products, internal tools, and processes to drive automation and improve work efficiency. The Business Analyst will analyze data using scientific management techniques, collaborate with multiple teams for data enhancement, and lead pilot projects, offering actionable recommendations to optimize business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the team in conducting analysis, audits, and pilot projects focused on process improvement.
- Drive detailed analysis of product features and user experience to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for new proposals and workflows aimed at improving existing data processes.
- Initiate and manage feature requests that impact process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and suggest improvements to policy documentation and operational workflows.
- Identify initiatives to increase overall efficiency and productivity within the process.
- Provide excellent customer service through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of client queries.
- Guide users through product features and menus, ensuring a clear understanding and smooth navigation.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of customer interactions following standard procedures.
- Offer alternative solutions to retain customers and enhance client satisfaction.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, adapting messages to suit different audiences and situations.
- Follow up with clients to record feedback and ensure compliance with contracts and SLAs.
- Participate in product training sessions to stay updated on features, changes, and client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with team leaders to identify training needs and improve service delivery.
- Engage in continuous self-learning and maintain professional networks to enhance job knowledge.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in business analysis or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and exposure to data analytics projects and methodologies.
- Ability to lead teams and manage pilot projects or audits effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and automation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Experience in writing detailed PRDs and managing feature requests.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
