Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing problems, gathering requirements, and supporting project delivery within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business problems by identifying root causes, assumptions, risks, and dependencies to provide actionable insights.
- Gather, validate, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Prepare detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and wireframes to support development teams.
- Examine current (As-Is) processes and recommend optimized (To-Be) workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and continuous requirement tracking to maintain project momentum.
- Evaluate system integrations and assess their impact on existing processes at a foundational level.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, process analysis, or involvement in software projects, internships, or academic assignments. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities combined with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Basic understanding of requirements gathering techniques, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), business process mapping, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing concepts, basic data analysis, APIs, and system integrations.
- Ability to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and validate proposed solutions effectively.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and basic proficiency in Figma is preferred but not mandatory.
