Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders, product owners, project managers, and technical teams to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure successful delivery of projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can translate complex business requirements into actionable plans, support solution design and implementation, and contribute to continuous process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to understand and define business needs, objectives, and areas for improvement.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate both functional and non-functional requirements using interviews, workshops, process reviews, and data analysis.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, use cases, workflows, acceptance criteria, and solution specifications.
- Map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing, track defects, and verify that solutions meet approved requirements.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to aid decision-making.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including requirements traceability, process documentation, and decision logs.
- Identify project risks, issues, and impacts, communicating recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops, document decisions and action items, and ensure follow-up with accountable parties.
- Promote continuous improvement by advocating for consistent business analysis standards, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar business analysis role.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and supporting technology or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, and Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Proficiency with requirements and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate alternatives, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated facilitation, stakeholder management, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
