Business Analytics is looking for a machine learning engineer to help us develop Deep Learning models for object detection, text detection and text recognition. You will be responsible of all the processes from data identification, collection, pre-processing, uploading the model with test data, training the model and production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Understand the project scope, business objectives and DL models that are appropriate for the problem in hand.
- Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
- Setup the training environment to test the ML model with training dataset
- Finding available datasets online that could be used for training, verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
- Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met
- Defining the pre-processing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset and defining data augmentation pipelines
- Training models and tuning their hyperparameters
- Deploying models to production.
Skills
- Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow, Keras or pytorch.
- Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and mlpy
- Proficiency with OpenCV and DL models that are being used
- Proficiency with Tesseract and other OCR solutions
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in some combination, of the following implementation languages: Python, Java, C# /C/C++.
- Familiarity with network, web architecture and Linux OS
- Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency
