easypaisa, Pakistan’s first digital bank, is transforming the country’s digital finance landscape. As part of its growth strategy, easypaisa is expanding its offline payments business, aiming to connect consumers, merchants, and retail environments to promote a more efficient and inclusive cashless economy.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual fluent in both Chinese and English to work closely with the Chief of Staff, product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders. This role goes beyond traditional administrative or translation duties, involving active participation in business execution across strategy, product development, technology, operations, and cross-functional project management. The successful candidate will independently manage key workstreams, track performance indicators, and contribute to achieving the organization’s cashless economy goals. This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension, based onsite in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and track progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies across multiple offline payments projects and teams.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned product initiatives, from ideation and scoping through development, testing, and launch.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff to understand strategic priorities and independently drive planning, execution, and follow-up on key initiatives.
- Coordinate with business, product, technology, and operations teams to ensure cross-functional execution and conduct business process gap analysis to manage requirement changes.
- Conduct market research on offline payments, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, retail scenarios, and competitors to inform strategic decisions.
- Participate in merchant visits and user research sessions, translating feedback into actionable insights and product recommendations.
- Organize and actively contribute to bilingual meetings, ensuring accurate communication of strategic intent across stakeholders.
- Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring clear prioritization, backlog grooming, and alignment with technical capacity.
- Prepare bilingual meeting notes, business analyses, project updates, and management materials in both English and Chinese.
- Facilitate ongoing communication and coordination between teams in China and Pakistan.
- Monitor progress on initiatives, proactively identify risks, and ensure timely resolution with relevant teams.
- Generate regular reports and insights to evaluate initiative success and recommend improvements.
- Manage relationships with partners, vendors, and cross-functional departments to support product-related processes and procedures.
- Gradually assume ownership of selected workstreams and cross-functional projects as experience grows.
- Adhere to organizational behavioral standards in all aspects of work conduct.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience working with product or technology teams in requirement gathering or business analysis roles.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with the ability to participate in professional meetings and prepare written materials in both languages.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong logical thinking, structured problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Highly proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and execution-driven.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an ambiguous environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-centric mindset focused on product development and implementation.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- Study, work, or exchange experience in China.
- Background in fintech, digital payments, internet companies, consulting, product, or project management.
