Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand our government and public sector projects in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale government initiatives, particularly in areas such as Smart City, Smart Policing, Transportation, Justice, and related technology solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build and maintain relationships with government clients, system integrators, and key stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with government customers, key end users, and system integrators.
- Identify, pursue, and convert large-scale project opportunities within the public sector.
- Manage project opportunities from initial engagement through contract negotiation and delivery.
- Lead customer engagements, gather market intelligence, and oversee Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
- Maintain a comprehensive project pipeline, monitor opportunity progress, assess risks, and implement action plans.
- Collaborate effectively with Pre-Sales, Product, Delivery, Headquarters, and management teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Consistently achieve business development and sales targets.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or project sales within the government or public sector.
- Proven track record managing mega projects and engaging with government stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong target orientation with demonstrated business development capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools to track and present project data.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, Telecom, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in IT Services and IT Consulting industries is advantageous.
