Business Development Manager (To G)

Dahua Technology Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd., a prominent player in the Defence, Government, Smart Policing, Smart City, Transportation, and Justice sectors, is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager based in Karachi. This full-time role focuses on managing and expanding project business within the government segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives, gaining industry insights, building and strengthening key customer relationships, identifying potential project opportunities, and overseeing Proof of Concept (PoC) operations to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Business Growth: Conduct thorough marketing and industry analysis to identify opportunities. Develop and convert key government customers while maintaining strong relationships. Identify and nurture potential project opportunities from inception through to contract signing and project implementation until completion.

- Process Management: Collaborate closely with key end users and system integrators to align activities with strategic objectives. Maintain accurate records of project opportunities, regularly update progress, and manage planning, risk assessment, and support requirements.

- Reporting, Coordination & Teamwork: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, delivery, product management, and regional leadership across headquarters, MENA, and country managers to ensure seamless project execution and business growth.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience managing government relationships and handling large-scale project operations is essential.

- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities are critical. Proficiency in MS Excel for sales reporting, tracking, and basic data analysis is required. The candidate must be self-motivated and target-driven to meet business objectives.
