We are seeking a skilled and commercially focused Business Development Officer with 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare technology, specifically in healthcare SaaS and Hospital Management Systems (HMS/HMIS). Based in Lahore, this full-time role offers a monthly salary range of PKR 100,000 to 150,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of healthcare software, hospital workflows, and the operational challenges faced by hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers. This position involves managing the entire B2B sales cycle—from identifying potential clients and understanding their needs to delivering product demonstrations, negotiating terms, and closing deals. The successful candidate will confidently engage with healthcare professionals and decision-makers, translating technical software features into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare SaaS Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and other healthcare providers. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, industry research, referrals, and strategic partnerships. Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive solutions to develop targeted sales strategies that expand the company’s footprint in the healthcare technology sector.

Hospital Management System Sales: Demonstrate expertise in HMS/HMIS software modules such as patient registration, appointments, EMR/EHR, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inventory, and reporting. Understand hospital workflows to identify areas where software can enhance operational efficiency and patient management. Present system capabilities, integration requirements, and business benefits tailored to client needs.

Technical Consultation and Product Demonstrations: Conduct discovery meetings to assess client systems and challenges. Deliver independent product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare stakeholders. Explain SaaS concepts, subscription models, cloud deployment, data security, and integration workflows at a level appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with product and implementation teams to address technical queries and customization needs.

End-to-End Sales and Deal Closure: Manage the full sales process from initial contact through proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure. Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and subscription plans. Handle objections and negotiate pricing within company guidelines. Build strong relationships with hospital executives, administrators, IT managers, and procurement teams. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status in CRM systems.

Client Relationship Management and Revenue Growth: Foster long-term client relationships to support retention and recurring SaaS revenue. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional modules and integrations. Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams during onboarding. Collect client feedback and relay market insights to internal teams. Support account renewals and strategic partnerships.

Market Intelligence and Sales Reporting: Monitor healthcare technology trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and market demand. Identify opportunities related to hospital digitization and automation. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline value, and closed business. Contribute to sales planning and revenue growth initiatives.
