Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Islāmābād, Pakistan. This position focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across ZGC’s various verticals including real estate, design, logistics, transport, and trading. The officer will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors within the group.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Develop and present business proposals tailored to client needs.
- Support contract negotiations and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Conduct market research and analyze business and financial data to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
- Manage CRM records to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Participate in regular client meetings, follow-ups, and networking events to enhance the company’s market presence.

Required Qualifications

- Strong skills in new business development, including lead generation, opportunity assessment, and partnership building.
- Solid analytical abilities with a basic understanding of finance to interpret market data, evaluate business cases, and assist in pricing or investment decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear presentations, proposals, and client correspondence.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong customer service skills to manage expectations and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within real estate, logistics, or related industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with CRM or sales management tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
