Business Development Specialist

Fair Weighing (PVT) LTD, a well-established provider of industrial and retail weighing solutions with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their team in Karāchi. The company offers a diverse range of products including weighbridges, weighing scales, EOL printing and inspection systems, industrial plants, automation equipment, and retail equipment. Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by generating leads and building strong relationships with industrial and retail clients. Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities, using these insights to support sales strategies and product positioning. Engage with potential customers through meetings and presentations, prepare proposals, and follow up on inquiries to drive sales growth. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report regularly on business development progress. Contribute to the development of long-term growth plans aligned with company objectives.

Required Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, customer requirements, and business performance metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and internal collaboration. Proven experience in lead generation, including identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and managing a sales pipeline. Ability to conduct structured market research to assess industry trends, competitors, and target segments. Customer service skills focused on building long-term relationships, handling inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently. Experience in business development, sales, or account management within industrial, retail, or related technical sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Willingness to work on-site in Karāchi with the ability to travel locally for client visits. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
