Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, Databricks, and data engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing business intelligence solutions, creating high-performance dashboards, managing ETL processes, and transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires hands-on experience with modern data platforms, query optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver effective data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and accuracy.
- Utilize Databricks for data engineering tasks and ETL process management.
- Design and implement ETL workflows using Python and PySpark.
- Apply SQL query optimization and performance tuning techniques to improve data retrieval times.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, including CRM platforms like HubSpot and Zendesk.
- Maintain and enhance data architecture following the Medallion Architecture framework (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Develop and optimize dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Utilize REST APIs for data integration and automation purposes.
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues and improve BI processes.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks platform.
- Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience in developing and optimizing dashboards.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Proficient in ETL development using Python and PySpark.
- Familiarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Understanding of REST APIs and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Zendesk or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather business requirements and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Location & Work Arrangement
This position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and requires on-site presence.
