Business Process Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Karachi, Sindh. This role involves analyzing business challenges, gathering and validating requirements, and collaborating closely with both business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions. The ideal candidate will support Agile processes, assist in user acceptance testing, and contribute to improving existing workflows. This position is well-suited for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of relevant experience looking to grow their career in business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business problems by identifying root causes, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
- Gather, validate, and document both business and functional requirements accurately.
- Prepare detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and wireframes.
- Evaluate current (As-Is) processes and recommend optimized (To-Be) workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support Agile activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and tracking requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Assess system integrations and their impact on business processes at a fundamental level.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, process analysis, software projects, internships, or academic projects. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities to clearly convey requirements and findings.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Understanding of requirements gathering techniques, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case development.
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), business process mapping, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing concepts, basic data analysis, APIs, and system integrations.
- Ability to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and validate proposed solutions effectively.
- Experience with Jira and basic proficiency in Figma is preferred but not mandatory.
