Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II

Motive is seeking a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II to join our Sales Operations team and help drive innovation and efficiency. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to Sales and Sales Operations leaders, playing a crucial part in scaling our operations model. Your efforts will enable teams to focus on high-impact initiatives that support the company’s growth and success. This position offers an opportunity to work with a platform that integrates safety, operations, and finance functions, leveraging AI to provide visibility, control, and automation across fleet management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze data to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that offer critical business intelligence to stakeholders.
- Project Management: Support the management of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with sales leaders and other key stakeholders to maintain effective communication and ensure alignment on priorities.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain data integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality assurance processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years in business intelligence, sales operations, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Salesforce is essential. Mandatory SQL skills are required, while experience with Apps Script, Hex, and N8N is preferred.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive and adaptable mindset, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline is encouraged. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are considered advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
Candidates will participate in a technical assessment that simulates real-world scenarios faced by analysts on our team. This includes working with raw data, crafting business narratives, using Google Sheets, and querying data with SQL. This process is designed to showcase your analytical thinking and communication skills beyond traditional interviews.
