C# Engineer

This is an hourly-paid, fully remote contractor position focused on reviewing AI-generated responses and creating C#/.NET engineering content. The role involves evaluating the quality of reasoning and step-by-step problem-solving in AI outputs. You will assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with prompts, identify errors in methodology or conceptual understanding, fact-check technical claims, and compare multiple responses based on correctness and reasoning quality. Additionally, you will produce clear, high-quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate proper methods and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and responses across various topics to guide AI learning, ensuring models develop a broad and accurate understanding of subjects.
- Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses to improve model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
- Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases, validating their reliability and robustness across different use cases.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with C#.
- Strong proficiency with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, async/await patterns, and LINQ.
- Knowledge of relational databases and data access techniques, such as SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, with experience using EF Core and/or Dapper.
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
- Strong English writing skills with a minimum proficiency level of C1.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to identify subtle logical or technical issues and clearly explain corrections.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience solving medium to hard algorithmic problems, such as those found on LeetCode or HackerRank, is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in AI data training, evaluation, annotation, or technical quality assurance of model outputs is preferred.
