CA Sports is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Supervisor to join the Shoe Sole Making Department in Sialkot, Pakistan. This role involves overseeing and managing the daily mechanical and electrical operations of the shoe sole manufacturing division, including molding, trimming, and finishing machinery. The supervisor ensures smooth functioning of industrial sole-making equipment such as EVA/PU injection machines and rubber vulcanizing presses. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in footwear, plastics, or rubber molding industries.
This position requires a proactive individual with strong hands-on expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting emergency repairs, monitoring machine performance to maximize production efficiency, and ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards. Although this role does not include managing a team, the supervisor will work closely with technicians and operators to maintain optimal workshop operations within the company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily mechanical and electrical operations within the shoe sole manufacturing division, ensuring the proper functioning of molding, trimming, and finishing machinery.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and carry out troubleshooting and emergency repairs on industrial sole-making machinery including EVA/PU injection machines and rubber vulcanizing presses.
- Monitor machine performance consistently to maximize production efficiency and minimize technical downtime.
- Support and coordinate with technicians and operators to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety standards within the workshop and machinery operations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and machine performance to assist in ongoing process improvements.
- Identify potential mechanical or electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly to avoid production delays.
- Assist in the training and guidance of junior technicians to enhance their skills and technical knowledge.
- Collaborate with related departments to address technical challenges and improve overall manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to mechanical and electrical operations.
