As an airline ambassador, the Cabin Crew member plays a vital role in fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This position involves delivering exceptional customer service to passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. The role requires readiness, physical fitness, and adherence to company policies and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure punctual attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and compliance with legal requirements for assigned flights. Participate in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, maintaining their safety and comfort at all times. Identify safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary and promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to airline and civil aviation authority guidelines.
- Provide continuous excellent customer service by addressing individual passenger requests and pre-bookings. Support passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with operational policies.
- Promote onboard sales, including meals, products, and charity programs, to help meet individual and team revenue targets. Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card payments related to sales and donations.
- Conduct pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, and catering items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in maintaining cabin cleanliness during transit stops and ensure proper restocking of catering and duty-free products.
- Manage orderly handover and takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams.
- Complete post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any issues encountered during the flight.
- Assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional knowledge and safety skills through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving assigned sales targets and supporting overall operational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
- Physically fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions.
- Presentable appearance with a friendly, cheerful, and positive attitude, even under stress.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand and meet passenger needs.
- Skilled in managing difficult situations and handling upset customers while maintaining the company’s image.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

Important Requirements

- Age between 20-29 for new crew members; up to 33 for experienced personnel.
- Minimum height: 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males, with weight proportionate to height and age.
- Clear skin with no visible tattoos or marks while in uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim using a flotation device.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in cabin crew roles or customer service within airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including extended hours.
- Demonstrated adaptability to frequent schedule changes and busy environments.
