Design and document database architecture
Design Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platform infrastructure
Maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security
Define and build tools that automate monitoring and initiate corrective actions
Administer security by maintaining users and security roles within the ERP system
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document change
Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues
Work with the IT team to size and tune the network and compute assets supporting the application
Work with ERP team members to establish best-practice processes within company systems
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
