Job Description
Payroll Management:
To assist DM HR in following duties for efficient and effective payroll management:
1. To process salary cases for newly hired employees as per prescribed procedure, duly filling in prescribed forms; to ensure that all salary cases are sent to accounts department before 25th of every month;
2. To check, cross verify and monitor payroll before putting it up to GM HRD for approval/authorization of monthly salaries on or before 25th of every month;
3. To receive, handle and resolve salary problems, deductions from salary, salary delays, and all kinds of grievances related to employees’ salary;
4. To issue employee code and employee cards within 10 days of hiring of new employee;
5. To process resignation cases as per prescribed procedure of the company, ensuring that employee gives a prior notice of 30 days; to ensure attachment of clearance certificate duly signed by concerned head of the department in case of resignation;
6. To process and implement increment cases after the appraisal exercise as per prescribed process;
7. To receive, handle and resolve increment related problems/grievances of employees;
8. To monitor KPOs so as to ensure correct data input from manual attendance sheets;
9. To monitor and cross check total number of Present and Absent days on manual attendance sheets and ensure that same is input in Information Management System;
Training and Development:
To assist DM HR and GM HR in performing following duties:
10. To conduct training need analysis (TNA) by personally meeting all heads of the departments;
11. To prepare training schedule of employees as per TNA mentioned above;
12. To make all logistic arrangements for training including arrangement of venue, equipment, training material, trainers’ accommodation and travel, if required, trainers’ remuneration as agreed with GM HRD; ensuring attendance of employees for who training is arranged and finally taking formal feedback of employees’ who received training;
13. Keeping record of all trainings, employee feedback;
14. To monitor effectiveness of training and preparing report thereof;
15. To ensure maintenance of training/board rooms located at factory and CTC, Samnabad, ensuring all equipment in serviceable condition, and furniture in immaculate shape;
16. To establish pool of trainers and have constant liaison with them;
General:
17. To monitor HR Assistant to ensure that personal records of employees are established, maintained and updated from time to time;
18. To ensure that personal files of all employees are properly archived and can be readily retrieved;
19. To perform any other task/duty/job assigned by GM HRD.
