We are a UK and Dubai-based agency specializing in AI-assisted coding, focusing primarily on Next.js and Supabase technologies. As we grow our content production efforts, we are looking for a talented Canva designer to craft visually compelling thumbnails for our technical tutorial videos. The ideal candidate will have strong Canva skills and be comfortable leveraging AI tools to generate diverse avatars, enhancing the overall appeal of our YouTube content and helping us maintain a consistent, professional brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design attractive and engaging thumbnails for technical tutorial videos using Canva.
- Use AI tools to create and customize a variety of avatars for video thumbnails.
- Collaborate closely with the content team to ensure thumbnails accurately reflect the technical subject matter.
- Maintain a consistent design style that aligns with the agency’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
- Manage multiple thumbnail projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professional experience using Canva, specifically for thumbnail design.
- Strong ability to understand technical content and translate complex topics into clear, visually appealing designs.
- Previous experience creating thumbnails for YouTube creators or similar digital content producers.
- A portfolio showcasing Canva thumbnail designs along with links to the corresponding YouTube videos is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English, with the capability to read and comprehend technical material. Applicants will be required to submit their English reading and listening scores from a recognized assessment tool.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with AI-based tools for generating avatars or other design elements is highly desirable.
- This role is a part-time, temporary contract position lasting six months.
- Compensation starts at Rs 20,000 per month.
