Cashier

Valencia Pakistan is seeking a responsible and trustworthy Cashier to join our women’s footwear retail outlet located in DHA Phase 2, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have experience handling cash and card transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. This role requires someone who is punctual, attentive, and capable of maintaining organized and secure cash operations. The working hours are from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

- Process cash and card payments accurately and issue receipts for every transaction.
- Record all transactions correctly in the POS system.
- Count opening and closing cash balances daily.
- Reconcile cash with POS sales and submit closing reports at the end of each shift.
- Maintain detailed records of refunds, exchanges, discounts, and cancelled bills.
- Prevent cash shortages and immediately report any discrepancies.
- Assist customers professionally at the checkout counter.
- Keep the cash counter organized and secure at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong calculation and record-keeping skills.
- Honest, punctual, responsible, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to handle customers professionally and courteously.
- Valid CNIC and references from previous employment are mandatory.

Salary

The position offers a monthly salary of PKR 40,000.
