The Accounts Assistant at C.C. The Accounts Assistant collaborates with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment queries. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, it supports senior accountants and finance managers by executing critical transactional and administrative accounting tasks in compliance with company financial policies.
Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable by accurately entering and verifying invoices.
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on unpaid invoices to ensure timely payment.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
Record daily financial transactions accurately using accounting software and ERP systems.
Assist in preparing payment vouchers, cheques, and bank transfers for outgoing payments.
Organize and maintain financial documents, receipts, and records to facilitate internal and external audits.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities by updating and verifying ledger entries.
Assist with payroll data entry and processing employee expense claims.
Monitor and update ledger accounts regularly, ensuring all financial entries are accurate and up to date.
Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review and decision-making purposes.
Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related queries efficiently.
Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc administrative and accounting duties as required.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards to maintain financial integrity.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
Manage workload effectively to meet tight deadlines, especially during financial closing periods.
