The Mechanical Engineering Internee at C.C. Factories Wazirabad Private Ltd. will actively support the engineering, production, and maintenance teams. This internship offers hands-on exposure to applying mechanical engineering principles in real-world manufacturing, maintenance, and design settings. The internee will engage in daily technical tasks such as assisting with mechanical design, equipment maintenance, data collection, and process improvement under close supervision.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The role demands enthusiasm to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety. While no prior experience is mandatory, familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing processes will be advantageous. The position does not involve managing a team but encourages collaboration and shadowing to gain comprehensive industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanical engineers in daily design, maintenance, and production activities.
- Support the creation of technical drawings and documentation using CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Observe and participate in troubleshooting mechanical equipment failures and repairs.
- Monitor machine performance, production workflows, and the condition of equipment.
- Contribute to preventive maintenance operations and maintain detailed maintenance records.
- Collect and analyze data related to production efficiency, equipment downtime, and quality standards.
- Participate in testing, inspections, and quality assurance checks for mechanical components and systems.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement or stores departments.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Shadow experienced engineers and technicians to understand plant operations and mechanical system functions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain documentation as assigned by supervisors.
- Support process improvement initiatives and equipment upgrade projects.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervising engineer or manager.
