Mechanical Engineer

C.C. Factories Wazirabad Private Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of experience to design, develop, test, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate will utilize sound engineering principles to ensure equipment reliability, enhance production efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes are essential for this role. This position does not require managing a team but demands collaboration with various departments including production, quality, and procurement to achieve project goals and maintain operational excellence. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications, conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses, overseeing installation and maintenance of machinery, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Troubleshooting mechanical failures and recommending efficiency improvements will be key aspects of this position. The engineer will also support project management activities by managing timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring compliance with engineering codes and safety standards. Continuing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and new technologies will be expected to maintain technical expertise.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, systems, and machinery according to project specifications.
• Create and prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and design documents using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost assessments, and risk analyses for new mechanical projects to evaluate viability and optimize resource use.
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and extend machinery life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns, identifying root causes and applying effective corrective measures.
• Monitor machine performance continuously and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams to coordinate equipment upgrades, new installations, and spare parts inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all mechanical engineering activities.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation for projects and routine operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory in partnership with procurement to secure the availability of critical components and avoid production delays.
• Support project management efforts by assisting in timeline planning, budget control, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
• Conduct rigorous testing and quality control checks on prototypes and mechanical systems to confirm adherence to design requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to technicians and junior engineers to elevate departmental capabilities.
• Keep abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering technologies, materials, and industry best practices to continuously improve processes and solutions.
