The Procurement Officer at C.C. Responsibilities

Identify procurement needs across all departments and consolidate purchase requests to streamline acquisition processes.
Source potential suppliers and vendors by evaluating price, quality, reliability, and delivery terms to ensure optimal value.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and purchase orders in compliance with organizational standards.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements contributing to cost savings.
Maintain and regularly update vendor databases, while conducting thorough evaluations of supplier performance against key metrics.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and stores teams to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and ensure efficient inventory management.
Ensure that all procurement activities conform to company policies, budget limits, and relevant laws and regulations to mitigate risks.
Track orders meticulously, resolve any delivery or quality issues efficiently, and manage the return process or disputes with suppliers.
Prepare comprehensive procurement reports, cost analyses, and budget forecasts to inform senior management decision-making.
Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all purchases, pricing agreements, and contracts to support audit and compliance requirements.
Collaborate proactively with the finance department to synchronize payment processes and with legal teams to finalize contract terms.
Leverage supply chain management software and inventory control systems to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.
