Production Manager

The Production Manager at C.C. Factories Wazirabad Private Ltd. holds a pivotal role in managing the manufacturing operations for utensil and kitchenware products. This position demands full oversight of production processes from initial material planning to final product dispatch, ensuring that daily output targets, quality specifications, and safety standards are consistently achieved. The manager is responsible for optimizing production efficiency, minimizing waste, and maintaining stringent quality control measures. Experienced in production planning, process optimization, and quality assurance, the candidate takes a hands-on approach to supervising a large team and machine operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires managing a sizable workforce of 200 individuals, coordinating with multiple departments including procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance, while driving continuous improvement through Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and other best practices. The Production Manager ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies while controlling production costs related to labor, materials, and overhead. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and decision-making capabilities are essential to meet the challenging demands of producing high-quality cookware products efficiently.
Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to consistently meet output goals and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the entire manufacturing process of utensils, including stamping, pressing, molding, polishing, coating/plating, assembly, and packaging, ensuring strict adherence to production plans.
• Monitor production metrics such as output levels, machine performance, and workforce productivity to identify and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments to ensure all products meet established quality standards and address any defects or non-conformances.
• Manage raw material allocation and inventory, including stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, and wood, optimizing usage to minimize waste and control costs effectively.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate the production team of approximately 200 personnel, fostering a safe, efficient, and motivated working environment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to oversee the upkeep, repair, and servicing of production machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene protocols on the production floor to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
• Analyze detailed production data such as downtime incidents, rejection rates, and output quality to prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools, Kaizen, and 5S to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and improve product quality.
• Work closely with procurement, stores, and planning departments to ensure timely availability of critical raw materials, tools, and dies to support uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with all internal company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements pertaining to manufacturing operations.
• Manage the production budget, effectively controlling labor, materials, and overhead expenses to achieve financial targets without compromising quality.
• Supervise new product development trials, process improvements, and facilitate smooth transitions for new utensil designs and models.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to guarantee timely dispatch of finished goods to customers.
• Conduct regular production meetings to communicate daily targets, resolve operational challenges, and promote continuous team engagement and improvement.
