C.C. Factories Wazirabad Private Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Raw Material Store Officer to oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of raw materials. This role ensures the seamless flow and availability of raw materials for production, maintaining accurate inventory records while minimizing wastage and loss. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8 persons, coordinating efforts to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in warehouse management systems to support efficient supply chain operations.
The Raw Material Store Officer is responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, organizing proper storage according to FIFO/LIFO standards, and managing stock levels using ERP systems. This role involves conducting regular physical stock audits, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining documentation such as Goods Receipt Notes and inventory reports. The Store Officer also collaborates with procurement, production, and quality departments to ensure material availability, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with company policies and regulations such as GMP and ISO.
Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials from suppliers, verifying quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, or non-conformance and report issues to procurement or quality assurance.
- Organize and maintain proper storage of raw materials according to safety, quality standards, and FIFO/LIFO inventory methods.
- Issue raw materials to production departments based on approved requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain accurate stock records manually and through ERP or inventory management software for all raw material movements.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile system records, investigating and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and generate alerts for reordering to prevent production delays or overstock situations.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of raw materials, including batch and lot numbers for quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the storage and warehouse areas.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, and quality control teams to address material availability and resolve related issues.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation such as Goods Receipt Notes, material issue slips, stock ledgers, and inventory reports.
- Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of raw materials, ensuring proper rotation and disposal of expired or damaged stock.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to inventory and storage operations to uphold compliance and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards including GMP and ISO.
- Lead and manage a team of 8 staff members, providing guidance, training, and motivation to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy.
