Jamil's Restaurant in Karachi is seeking a dedicated and reliable CCTV Surveillance Officer to manage the security and surveillance operations within the restaurant premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment by continuously monitoring video feeds, identifying suspicious activities promptly, and accurately documenting incidents. Key Responsibilities

- Continuously monitor live video feeds using Video Management Software (VMS) to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious activities.
- Operate and maintain CCTV hardware and software systems, including Hikvision and Dahua platforms, ensuring all equipment functions properly and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of security events in clear English to support investigations and audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with data privacy regulations by safeguarding recorded footage and confidential information.
- Collaborate closely with security personnel and management to escalate incidents and assist in timely response measures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of security breaches or incidents and recommend preventive actions.
- Perform regular system checks to maintain optimal performance of surveillance equipment and report technical issues as they arise.
- Adapt to rotational shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide continuous monitoring and vigilance.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail by carefully inspecting all monitors to detect even minor irregularities or safety concerns in real time.
- Assist in training new monitoring officers or team members by sharing best practices and operational procedures when needed.
- Contribute to creating a secure environment that deters theft, vandalism, and other security violations common in restaurant or retail settings.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum intermediate education.
- At least two years of experience in CCTV monitoring.
- Proficiency with video management software and familiarity with Hikvision or Dahua surveillance systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English.
- Basic computer skills to support daily reporting and security protocols.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
