Cell Tech is looking for a UI designer who will create intuitive interfaces for handling complex data involved processes. You will be responsible for working with the product managers to handle all aspects of UI design, from determining styles and layout to considering the user experience. While the product managers will be involved in design decisions, we expect you to take a leading role in the design process.
Skillset
● 4+ years of experience in interaction and product interface design.
● Significant experience working with web design (dashboards, etc.)
● Strong visual and iconography skills.
● Ability to drive the entire design process from ideation to implementation.
● Well-versed in user-centered design methods and best practices.
● Expertise using wireframe tools and generating interactive hi-fi prototypes (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc).
● Work closely with Product Managers to develop wireframes required for development and execution of UI
● Ability to negotiate and articulate the "why" of design decisions. You'll need to convince, to disagree confidently, take and give straightforward criticism.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong self-management skills and product delivery ownership.
● Bachelor’s in a relevant program.
● Technical background with knowledge of Web standards - HTML, CSS, Javascript
Bonus Points for the Following:
● Latest framework of JS: Angular, Node, Vue, React
● Familiarity with iOS, Android UI design
● Digital Illustration
● Website Design
Additional Information
All candidates must send a portfolio or work samples along with their inquiries, these should include examples of elegant and intuitive UIs that demonstrate creation with a focus on the UX. In particular we value a strong, in depth portfolio with examples of functional tool designs on a web platform. The portfolio will be the most weighted piece of your application. Please ensure that your submission is up to date and contains some description of its pieces.
