Tasks & responsibilities
- Support in planning activities.
- Collect data from Community and prepare regular reports on activities.
- Coordinate with construction field staff to ensure that the various aspects of the DRM Program are integrated.
- Respect security rules.
- Support in planning and participate in baseline assessments, KAP Surveys and PCVA in the targeted areas.
- Develop IEC materials for CBDRM Trainings and formal awareness sessions.
- Prepare trainings modules and manuals for CBDRM trainings and DRR formal awareness sessions
- Arrange, manage and conduct CBDRM trainings in the targeted communities.
- Arrange, manage and conduct DRR formal awareness sessions.
- Ensure that action is taken to mitigate, prevent, and prepare the population to reduce the vulnerability to disasters.
- Ensure and help plan appropriate community involvement in the essential DRM activities.
- Perform other work - related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
