Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for formulating the work policy and goals of the procurement department, and submitting to the superior for approval;
  • Responsible for preparing the annual procurement plan and procurement budget, establishing and continuously adjusting and improving the procurement system and process;

  • Responsible for hosting and participating in meetings of the purchasing department, coordinating and communicating with the production department.

  • Responsible for analyzing and evaluating the cost of purchased materials and products, and analyzing the competition situation.
  • Responsible for supervising the arrival of purchased materials, supervising the quality of incoming materials, and coordinating the management process of material supply.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining procurement channels for urgently needed materials to ensure production and supply.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of working experience in manufacturing-related procurement.
  • Professional knowledge: familiar with local suppliers in Pakistan, and evaluate and assess local suppliers.
  • Familiar with the local material market in Pakistan, master the knowledge of related products, and have procurement experience; can understand engineering drawings.
  • Language skills: English and Urdu.
  • Working experience in iron and steel production enterprises is preferred.
