Suggest and implement database designs in accordance to business needs.
Knowledge of no-SQL databases such as mongo dB , Cassandra and elastic search
Knowledge of different database design patterns such as Sharding , Archiving and Partitioning
Optimize and tune DB instances according to varying application load
Knowledge of different replication strategies in order to support OLTP and OLAP workloads.
Database migration across different databases with minimum downtime.
Sound knowledge of different operating system platforms.
Expert in at least one of the scripting languages bash, shell, Perl and python
Maintaining different environments and syncing schema changes as per template.
Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Hands on with data warehousing tools such as greenplum, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena and AWS Glue.
Hand-on experience on Azure databases, Knowledge of DTUs, Amazon RDS, Aurora and Big Data

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences
4+ years of experience in relevant field
