The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. This senior leadership role is responsible for steering the overall financial strategy and performance of GMP Foods. The CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management while ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. This role demands the development and implementation of robust financial controls and the provision of data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

The CFO will ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and internal policies, working closely with the executive team to evaluate investments, optimize capital structure, manage risk, and drive growth initiatives both within Pakistan and the wider region. Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring the finance team, enhancing financial processes and systems, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy of the organization.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and enforce financial controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making and business growth.
- Manage cash flow, funding arrangements, and relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Ensure adherence to local tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and financial compliance standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners including auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in finance, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive organizational financial health.
- Proficiency in financial statements preparation, reporting, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, evaluate business performance, and support strategic initiatives.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to manage cash flow, funding, and maintain effective relationships with investors and banking partners.
- In-depth knowledge of local tax regulations, financial compliance requirements, and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, driving process improvements, and fostering collaboration across departments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
