Key Responsibilities for Chief Librarian:

- Support teaching, research activities, and digital library or distance learning initiatives.
- Maintain accurate library records, conduct stock verification, and manage circulation systems including loans, reminders, and fines.
- Supervise the library environment, ensuring proper seating arrangements, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with the Library Committee and prepare budget and resource estimates.

Required Qualifications for Chief Librarian:
- PhD in Library & Information Science, with a preference for specialization in Library Automation.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in an academic library setting.
Required Qualifications for Librarian:
- MPhil or MS in Library & Information Science, preferably with a focus on Library Automation.
- At least 3 years of experience in an academic library environment.
