Chief Operating Officer

AshreiTech is looking for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its outsourcing unit based in Karachi, Pakistan, working on-site at NASTP during the 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM shift. This role requires an experienced professional with 8 to 12+ years of expertise in operational leadership, capable of driving business growth and operational excellence for US-based operations. The COO will be responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable plans, optimizing processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery while managing multiple departments and fostering collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic & Operational Management: Oversee daily business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Strategic Execution: Convert business objectives into operational plans with measurable KPIs and clear performance targets.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs, evaluate departmental outcomes, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Team Leadership: Lead department heads and operational teams, promoting accountability and high performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among Finance, HR, Sales, Administration, and other functions.
- Resource & Budget Management: Optimize workforce utilization, oversee operational expenses, support budgeting, and enforce cost-control measures.
- Business Growth & Scalability: Support expansion efforts and develop operational capabilities to scale US-based business operations.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Service Delivery & Quality Assurance: Ensure outsourced services meet service levels, quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks, assess impacts, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Policies & Governance: Develop and enforce SOPs, operational policies, reporting structures, and internal controls.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular reports on operations, performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to business owners.
- Leadership Development: Mentor departmental leaders, enhance management skills, and build high-performing teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and overall business performance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in operations, business management, or organizational leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple departments and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of operational strategy, budgeting, financial oversight, KPI development, and process optimization.
- Experience managing outsourced operations or US-based business operations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in translating business strategy into measurable operational results.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, drive execution, and maintain accountability across teams.
