Chief Pilot

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Pilot to lead our flight operations based in Karachi, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing flight crew performance, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety within our business jet and VIP charter operations. This full-time role demands a proactive leader who can manage operational efficiency while upholding safety and professionalism in all aspects of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pilot licensing, medical certifications, type ratings, recurrent training, and proficiency checks to ensure all crew members meet regulatory and company standards.
- Manage crew scheduling, flight rosters, and assignments for Captains and First Officers to optimize operational readiness and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL), rest requirements, and all applicable aviation regulations to maintain safety and legal standards.
- Assess and evaluate new destinations for operational feasibility and safety considerations.
- Maintain and update operational manuals, safety directives, and regulatory documentation to reflect current standards and best practices.
- Conduct pilot performance appraisals and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistent operational excellence.
- Maintain active flying currency and serve as a Line Captain when required, demonstrating leadership and hands-on expertise.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Pakistan CAA/PCAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Relevant command type rating on business jets such as Challenger, Learjet, or equivalent aircraft.
- Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours, including at least 2,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine turbine or jet aircraft.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in corporate aviation, VIP charter, executive transport, or airline flight operations management.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan Civil Aviation Rules (CARs 1994), ICAO standards, flight safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in crew management, operational planning, and aviation safety oversight.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to effectively manage teams and operations.
