Rehman Habib Consultants (RHC) is looking for an experienced Chief Resident Engineer (CRE) to lead the construction supervision and execution of a major Dam and Water Resources Project in Balochistan, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs and technical specifications, maintaining quality and safety standards, and coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise all construction activities related to the Dam and Water Resources Project.
- Ensure that project execution strictly follows approved designs, specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Manage and coordinate the site supervision team, including engineers and inspectors, to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor construction progress, workmanship quality, and site safety standards consistently.
- Review contractors’ work schedules, method statements, technical submissions, and construction plans for compliance and feasibility.
- Verify interim payment certificates, variation orders, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any technical or operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, contractual obligations, and project-specific requirements.
- Track project timelines and support efforts to complete the project within approved schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to the client and senior management regularly.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory; Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration is preferred.
- A minimum of 20 years of relevant professional experience in construction supervision and management, specifically on Dam and Water Resources Projects.
- Proven leadership skills with strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent technical coordination and communication skills to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working on projects located in Balochistan will be considered an advantage.
