Key Responsibilities
The Chiller Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting industrial chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and maintain required temperature levels. Daily duties include inspecting equipment, recording operating parameters, and performing basic maintenance tasks. The operator must promptly report any abnormalities or potential issues to the maintenance team to prevent downtime. Coordination with production and utility teams is essential to ensure uninterrupted operations. The role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. Additionally, the operator will support periodic shutdowns, assist in troubleshooting equipment problems, and maintain accurate logs and documentation related to chiller operations.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong understanding of chiller operation, refrigeration systems, and industrial utilities. The ability to monitor gauges, control panels, and instrumentation accurately is essential. Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to chiller and associated equipment are required. Knowledge of workplace safety practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with health and safety standards is mandatory. Candidates must be able to work in shifts, respond effectively to emergencies, and handle physically demanding tasks.
