Chiller Operator

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chiller Operator to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor chiller systems to ensure they function within specified parameters, optimizing performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems and associated HVAC equipment to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on chillers and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of components such as pressure gauges and temperature sensors.
- Read and interpret engineering schematics and DDC control system interfaces to understand system design and diagnose operational problems effectively.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols rigorously during operation, maintenance, and repair activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of operational activities, maintenance performed, and parts used, ensuring comprehensive documentation for future reference.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to address operational challenges and contribute to overall facility management goals.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in chiller operation and maintenance.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Certification as an HVAC Technician.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of refrigeration systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and perform effective preventive maintenance.
- Strong understanding of engineering schematics and experience working with DDC control systems.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures relevant to HVAC operations.
