This is a short-term market research project focused on the smartphone and used-phone market in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

We are looking for a local professional with strong knowledge of the smartphone/electronics market who can support field research, merchant outreach and local market visits.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills in Urdu and English and be comfortable contacting and visiting local smartphone dealers, wholesalers and other merchants.

Candidates with experience in smartphone/electronics sales, used-phone markets, business development or merchant acquisition are highly preferred.

Higher priority and compensation may be offered to candidates with:

Existing smartphone/electronics (3C) merchant connections
Consumer installment or mobile financing experience
BD / sales / merchant acquisition experience

Project dates: October 2–6, 2026.

Compensation: PKR 20,000–50,000+ per day, depending on experience and relevant industry resources.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Support field research in the smartphone and used-phone markets in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Identify and visit local smartphone dealers, used-phone retailers, wholesalers and other relevant merchants.
Contact merchants by phone or WhatsApp and help arrange meetings before and during the project.
Assist with merchant interviews and collect information on smartphone prices, sourcing, sales, customer demand and installment purchases.
Help identify experienced dealers, wholesalers and other industry professionals for market interviews.
Provide Urdu-English communication and interpretation support when needed.
Share practical insights about the local smartphone market, dealer network and consumer purchasing behavior.
Assist with local coordination during market visits.
