Chinese Food Chef

Little Karachi Express, located in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi, is seeking an experienced and passionate Chinese Food Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing a variety of authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment and collaborating closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a diverse range of Chinese dishes, including Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Manchurian, Chinese Fried Rice, Shashlik, Hot & Sour Soup, and other specialties.
- Ensure excellent taste, consistent food quality, and appealing presentation of all dishes.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in wok cooking, Chinese sauces, seasonings, and traditional cooking techniques.
- Efficiently prepare ingredients and manage daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adhere strictly to food safety standards.
- Monitor ingredient stock levels, control portion sizes, and minimize food wastage.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, especially during peak hours.
- Coordinate effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Chinese Food Chef in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine, cooking methods, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to independently prepare Chinese dishes while maintaining consistent taste and quality.
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and able to work well within a team environment.

- This is a full-time, in-person position based at Little Karachi Express, Gulistan-e-Johar Block 16, Karachi.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs36,000 to Rs45,000.
