Home Sampling Phlebotomist

Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a skilled Home Sampling Phlebotomist to perform blood sample collections directly from patients' homes following established standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in phlebotomy and specimen collection. This role requires precision in sample handling, strict adherence to infection control measures, and excellent patient communication skills to provide a safe and comfortable experience for patients in their home environment. This position is open exclusively to residents of Lahore. The Home Sampling Phlebotomist plays a critical role in ensuring that blood samples are collected accurately and labeled correctly for laboratory testing. Working independently, the candidate must demonstrate responsibility in adhering to all protocols regarding specimen collection, transport, and documentation. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a professional attitude and the ability to interact courteously with patients during home visits. Attention to detail and compliance with safety standards are essential to support the healthcare services provided by Chughtai Healthcare.
Responsibilities

Collect blood samples from patients at their homes in accordance with Chughtai Healthcare's standard operating procedures.
Ensure all specimens are handled carefully and labeled accurately to maintain sample integrity and traceability.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to protect both the patient and self during sample collection.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
Document all sample collection details thoroughly and accurately, including patient information, collection times, and sample types.
Transport collected samples safely and promptly to laboratory facilities to guarantee timely processing.
Maintain and calibrate phlebotomy equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risk of exposure to infectious materials.
Keep up to date with training and changes in phlebotomy practices and healthcare regulations.
Adhere to schedules and routes planned for home visits to maximize efficiency and patient coverage.
Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or patient reactions promptly to supervisors.
